WALKING
FROM THE CAMPERSTOP
We have drawn some routes of suggested walks from
the camperstop to be used in conjunction with a writtten description.
The walks vary from a short stroll along the canal
and down a rambla (dry river), where you may see the Little Owls or the
Kestrels flying, to longer routes that climb all the way up into the mountains
of Sierra Espuña, where you could see the Arrui (Barbary Sheep) or Booted
Eagles amongst other animals and birds that live in the park.
Walking route sheets are available from the
camperstop. Guided walking could also be arranged.
BIKING
FROM THE CAMPERSTOP
We have drawn some maps of suggested biking routes
from the camperstop to be used in conjunction with a writtten description.
The rides vary from a flat ride along the canal
service road (9 km to the junction with the road to the Natural Park, giving an
easy 18 km return) to longer routes that climb all the way up into the
mountains of Sierra Espuña, where you could see the Arrui (Barbary Sheep) or
Booted Eagles amongst other animals and birds that live in the park. The
routes in the park also vary from wide track riding for competent riders to
single track technical riding for the more experienced bikers.
Biking route sheets are available from the
camperstop. Guided biking could also be
arranged.
